MOST WANTED: Sky blue beaded with leaf appliqués Elizabeth Taylor gown

This is another stunning gown made by Nolan Miller for Elizabeth Taylor.  The sketch details this gown as being made for Elizabeth for the Academy Awards, but I can not find any images of her in it at an awards show.  I am not sure if she ended up wearing this gown to the Academy Awards as it was intended.  Elizabeth did wear this gown to functions though, including one honoring Princess Margaret, attended by Joan Collins also wearing Nolan Miller.

WANTED: If anyone has this gown or it's sketch, or any information on their whereabouts, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: Black velvet floral beaded Elizabeth Taylor gown

Even though this is not Dynasty worn, this is my ultimate and favorite Nolan Miller creation.  Along with the Dynasty wardrobe, Nolan designed personal wardrobe for many glamorous stars of the 1980's including Elizabeth Taylor.  Elizabeth wore this gown to several functions, but most notably to the 1985 Golden Globes where she won the Cecil B. DeMille lifetime achievement award.  I think the design of this gown is so unique.  A simple and elegant cut enhanced with cascading vines of leaves and flora in silver beads and clear rhinestones.  The beading and rhinestones set against the black velvet material creates a very alluring and dramatic contrast in color and texture.  I find the most unique feature to the vine of leaves and flowers that runs across the décolletage.  I love this gown on so many levels. I don't think it gets anymore glamorous or beautiful than this piece!

My Collection: Red beaded Alexis gown

This gown was worn by Joan Collins as Alexis Carrington Colby on "Dynasty."

Joan wore this gown in episode 98 of season 5 "That Holiday Spirit", the only Christmas themed show of the series.

Alexis wears this gown when she crashes the Carrington family Christmas party on her way back from marrying Dex in London.

This gown is red fabric with ruby red bugle beads sewn in a zig-zag pattern. The round puff sleeves are red satin, as is the mermaid style bottom of the gown which begins with a length of ruched satin at the hip that diagonally crosses the front of the gown and circles around the hemline.

MOST WANTED: White beaded with gold leaf appliqués Krystle gown

This is one of my top 5 favorite Krystle gowns.  Krystle wore many beautiful white and beige/nude beaded gowns on the show, and this is one of them.  Those two colors were definitely Krystle's signature palette when it came to the formal gowns.  Quite a contrast to Alexis' dramatic gowns in red, pink, and gold.  This gown was worn in several episodes.  It was first worn in season 4 during a family cocktail party at the Carrington mansion, where Fallon and Jeff announced their re-engagement.  Krystle also wore this gown in a scene at La Mirage and it was worn by Rita impersonating Krystle in season 6 while attending a charity function which was filmed for the Denver News, which was viewed by Krystle who was locked up in the attack at the Delta Rho horse ranch!  Linda wore this gown to the People's Choice Awards in 1984 where she won Favorite Actress and Dynasty won Favorite Show.
