My Collection: Sketch of red satin one shouldered Alexis gown

This is the Nolan Miller sketch of the red satin one shouldered gown Alexis wears in the memorable season 4 finale of Dynasty and also in the season 5 premiere.

In the season 4 finale Alexis wears this gown to Fallon's wedding ceremony at the Carrington mansion.  Before the ceremony can begin (which it never did), Alexis is arrested and taken to jail for the murder of Mark Jennings.  The episode ends with Alexis, still in her gown, hauled off to the local jailhouse, and thrown in a holding cell with prostitutes and drunkards, as she screams dramatically, "let me out of here!"  This makes for a very memorable and over the top season finale!  In the season 5 premiere Alexis makes her bail and is taken back to her penthouse by Dex and Steven.

If anyone has any information on the location of the actual gown please let me know!

WANTED: Teal beaded Krystle gown

This is another beautiful gown that was made for Linda to wear on Dynasty that never appeared on the show.  Linda wore this to present at the 1982 Emmy Awards and shot footage while wearing this gown going down the mansion staircase, possibly for a new title sequence that was never used. (Linda had the same title sequence all 9 seasons of Dynasty.)  Tracy Scroggins ended up wearing this gown on The Colbys and also for promotional photos for the show.  This color looks beautiful on Linda, as all blue tones look wonderful set against Linda's blue eyes.  The heavy feather-like beading patterns in shades of teal make this gown stand out as one of the most beautiful that Linda wore.  This gown would be higher on my list if it would have been worn on the show.

WANTED: If anyone has this costume, or any information on its whereabouts, please let me know!

WANTED: Black taffeta ruffle Alexis gown

This is another gown that was altered after Joan wore it on Dynasty.  An interior layer of red taffeta was added some time later. Again, the alterations to this gown do not enhance the piece and only detract from the original design.  The gown looks much better in solid black, without the red under layer that makes it resemble a Flamenco dancer's outfit.  Joan wore this gown to several events and also in the opening of Dynasty.  This gown is very 80's, but I think Joan looks terrific in this.  The matching black opera gloves with ruffles at the top add to the drama of the look.  It is not one of my favorites, but still a worth while costume.

WANTED: Blue silk Krystle gown

This blue silk gown is from the very memorable lily pond catfight scene between Krystle and Alexis.  The silk material, shape, and proportions of this gown resemble a dressing gown more so than a formal gown.  The vibrant blue color looks beautiful on Linda, and her curves fill out this piece nicely, but other than that this costume is not very memorable.  It's only real allure is for being in such a famous scene from the show.  There were at least two copies of this gown made- one for Linda and one for her stunt double.

WANTED: If anyone has this gown, or any information on its whereabouts, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: Elizabeth Taylor sketches

I am searching for original Nolan Miller sketches. I am interested in all of Nolan's colored sketches but in particular the sketches made for Dynasty, especially for Linda, Joan, and Diahann (and even more so their formal gowns), and also the formal gowns made for Elizabeth Taylor. But any of the large colored sketches by Nolan interest me (such as the ones posted below).

WANTED: If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of original Nolan Miller sketches, please let me know!
