WANTED: Navy velvet Elizabeth Taylor gown

This is another gown Nolan did for Elizabeth Taylor that was inspired by her costumes for "Poker Alice."  Nolan was known for finding a look or pattern that he liked and making multiple versions and variations of that design.  The "Poker Alice" cut gowns for Elizabeth Taylor definitely exemplify this repetition.  However, this cut looks amazing on Elizabeth, showcasing her best assets, and hiding her problem areas, so it is a good look to keep repeating.  This gown would rank higher on my want list, but even though I do like this gown, I find it a bit plain and underwhelming compared to the other gowns Nolan designed for Elizabeth with a similar cut and style in purple, magenta, white, red, pink, etc.

WANTED: If anyone has this costume, or any information on its whereabouts, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: White with silver foliage designs bustier Elizabeth Taylor gown

Here is another gown in the famous bustier design that Nolan did for Elizabeth through out the mid to late 1980's.  The costumes Nolan designed for Elizabeth for her TV movie "Poker Alice" were the inspiration for what would later became Elizabeth's go to awards gown look.  Elizabeth loved the way the period gowns she wore in "Poker Alice" accentuated her body in all the right ways-- the synched in corseted waist, pushed up bosom, covered upper arms, and long flowing skirt became her staple look.  This gown is enhanced with a silver glitter foliage design through out the white fabric and rhinestones along the décolletage.

MOST WANTED: Elizabeth Taylor sketches

I am searching for original Nolan Miller sketches. I am interested in all of Nolan's colored sketches but in particular the sketches made for Dynasty, especially for Linda, Joan, and Diahann (and even more so their formal gowns), and also the formal gowns made for Elizabeth Taylor. But any of the large colored sketches by Nolan interest me (such as the ones posted below).

WANTED: If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of original Nolan Miller sketches, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: Red beaded with rhinestone trim Elizabeth Taylor gown

Nolan made this gown for Elizabeth Taylor's appearance on the television show "Hotel."  This design is very similar to a black beaded gown Joan Collins wore on "Dynasty" around the same time period.  Elizabeth's gown came with a matching red beaded wrap trimmed in brown mink.  It is a gorgeous gown, but this is not one of my top favorites of Nolan's creations for her.  I also don't think this bright red color suits Elizabeth's complexion as well as some of the other colors she wore.  I think this gown looks like something more for Joan on "Dynasty." Regardless, I still think it is a great and desirable piece.

MOST WANTED: Pink satin bustier Elizabeth Taylor gown

Here is another gorgeous Elizabeth Taylor gown that Nolan designed with the same signature bustier cut.  Nolan designed roughly a dozen or so gowns for Elizabeth with this same cut in different colors and with other minor variations.  This design concept was inspired by the period costumes Nolan designed for Elizabeth for her TV movie "Poker Alice", which was set in the early 1900's.  Elizabeth wore this gown to present the award for best director at the 1987 Academy Awards.  The sketch for this gown is exceptionally detailed and beautiful, as were most of the formal gow sketches that were done for Elizabeth.
