WANTED: Pink silk Alexis negligee with ostrich feather cuffs

I am generally not after the negligees and bed time costumes as I am more interested in the formal gowns and dramatic looks, however some of the Dynasty night wear was exceptionally glamorous.  This is one of those bed time looks that I would like to have in my collection.  This ensemble is comprised of a pale pink silk robe with a paisley design with an over abundance of dramatic ostrich feathers at the cuffs and a matching silk slip underneath.  This is one of those costumes that is beautiful in motion-- the long robe flowed and fluttered as Joan walked around in the scene, along with the dramatic swooshing around of the oversized ostrich feather cuffs at the sleeves.

WANTED: If anyone has this costume, or any information on its whereabouts, please let me know!

WANTED: Red taffeta Alexis gown

This gown screams the 1980's.  It is not in my top favorites, but because it so over the top and totally resembles the look of that era, I think it is a worthwhile piece.  Anything red with big shoulder plumes I think is a very "Alexis" look, which adds to its appeal.  Alexis wore this gown in Moldavia for a party honoring her daughter Amanda's future wedding to a foreign prince.  This same exact design was also done in white for Joan to wear on Dynasty in another episode from that same season.

WANTED: If anyone has any information on the whereabouts of original Nolan Miller sketches, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: Leopard sequin Alexis gown

This is one of my top 10 favorite Alexis gowns.  It is just so over the top in every way, which seems befitting for the larger than life character who wore it.  I cant imagine any other character from the show being to pull of this look, but I think it looks very sexy and sophisticated on Alexis. "Alexis goes jungle!" Comprised of a strapless leopard print sequin gown with a matching sheer fur trimmed cape.  Joan wore this on Dynasty as well as in two separate photo shoots, one which took place in her own home.

Interesting trivia: I was told that Joan personally picked out this fabric herself, much to the chagrin of Nolan.  He didn't want to give Joan that much artistic authority over his designs for Alexis, for fear that she would try to take over!

MOST WANTED: Black beaded with rhinestone trim Alexis gown

This is my very top favorite Alexis gown from Dynasty, and one of my top three favorites from the show.  It has several elements that I really like.  I like the color black, I like the zig-zag beading, and I like the extra pop of the crystal trim around the edges and waist, which gives some added interest.  This design is also more classic and less 80's flamboyant, as many of Joan's gowns on Dynasty were.  Nolan drew inspiration from old Hollywood glamour for many of his designs, and this gown was one of them.

WANTED: Red beaded Fallon gown

This is one of the most iconic gowns from Dynasty, and it was never even worn by a main character on the series! This is the gown Pamela Sue Martin wore in the opening credits of Dynasty, as Fallon.  This gown is definitely Fallon's most memorable gown-- a memorable gown for a memorable character.  This piece is definitely the most used gown of any of the Dynasty wardrobe.  To my knowledge, 4 different actresses wore this gown affiliated with Dynasty, and it was also used on Love Boat as well.  Emma Samms wore this gown for promotional shots as Fallon once she took over the role, and it was also worn by Joan Collins for personal appearances and a photo shoot, and was incorporated into the storyline and worn by a short term character who played Jeff's new wife.  This gown is unique as it is heavily beaded and expensive like the gowns made for Linda and Joan, but has a much sleeker and younger feel.
