WANTED: Nude beaded rhinestone Krystle gown
This is one of my top ten favorite Krystle gowns from Dynasty. Linda wore this to the People's Choice Awards in 1985 where she won "Favorite Actress" and Dynasty won "Favorite Show." The nude color palette looks great on Linda, while the crystal embellishments add 1980's over the top glamour. I actually prefer this gown without the huge shoulder pads and crystals, but that is what makes it a very "Dynasty" look. This gown was later altered, by adding fabric to the neckline, transforming the gown from a V-neck décolletage to a high neckline. Per usual I definitely prefer the gown in it's pre-altered form. I think all of these gowns that were altered were much more beautiful in their original state. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it!"

MOST WANTED: Purple embroidered bustier Elizabeth Taylor gown
This is one of my top three favorite Elizabeth Taylor gowns, and thus one of my very top favorite Nolan Miller gowns in general. Nolan designed this gown for Elizabeth for her to wear in her Passion Perfume advertisements. She also wore this gown to the official launch party for the perfume. I love this gown. I find it to be very iconic as it is an Elizabeth Taylor in her signature color of purple. The embroidered designs and jewels on the chest add interest and embellishment. I also really love the cut of the gown, which Nolan did for Elizabeth in many different colors. This cut looked phenomenal on her, accentuating her figure to the fullest.

My collection: Sketch of red chiffon Krystle gown
This is the Nolan Miller sketch for the red matte chiffon gown worn by Linda Evans. This gown was made for Linda's role as Krystle, and the design was also used for the McCall's "Dynasty Collection" dress pattern kits. Linda did not ever wore this design on the show, but she did wear the gown for the photo shoot for McCall's as well as to a personal event. This sketch is done on large sketch board. The back of the sketch has hand written notes stating "# 12 - Linda Evans - Krystle - Dynasty". This leads me to believe that this design was made for Linda to wear on the show and perhaps the scene got cut or a different gown was used instead.
If anyone has any information on where Linda wore this design, or the location of the actual gown, please let me know!

MOST WANTED: Black beaded with rhinestone trim Alexis gown
This is my very top favorite Alexis gown from Dynasty, and one of my top three favorites from the show. It has several elements that I really like. I like the color black, I like the zig-zag beading, and I like the extra pop of the crystal trim around the edges and waist, which gives some added interest. This design is also more classic and less 80's flamboyant, as many of Joan's gowns on Dynasty were. Nolan drew inspiration from old Hollywood glamour for many of his designs, and this gown was one of them.

MOST WANTED: Red velvet bows Elizabeth Taylor gown
This gown was made for Elizabeth Taylor by Nolan, and was worn on the cover of the December 1985 issue of Vanity Fair, as well as for the photo shoot that was used for the pictorial. I am not sure if Elizabeth ever wore this gown to any functions or in other photo shoots. I like the red velvet material, it's simplicity in the basic regal cut but accentuated with the bows at the shoulders. Nolan Miller had a great talent for designing gowns for Elizabeth that made her look glamorous, sexy, and elegant over age 50. Obviously Elizabeth had a lot to do with the success of the designs, as she was a gorgeous woman, but I think it takes talent to combine all of those attributes into one gown for a woman of that age.

WANTED: Red beaded Fallon gown
This is one of the most iconic gowns from Dynasty, and it was never even worn by a main character on the series! This is the gown Pamela Sue Martin wore in the opening credits of Dynasty, as Fallon. This gown is definitely Fallon's most memorable gown-- a memorable gown for a memorable character. This piece is definitely the most used gown of any of the Dynasty wardrobe. To my knowledge, 4 different actresses wore this gown affiliated with Dynasty, and it was also used on Love Boat as well. Emma Samms wore this gown for promotional shots as Fallon once she took over the role, and it was also worn by Joan Collins for personal appearances and a photo shoot, and was incorporated into the storyline and worn by a short term character who played Jeff's new wife. This gown is unique as it is heavily beaded and expensive like the gowns made for Linda and Joan, but has a much sleeker and younger feel.
